Youth Development Specialist

Job Summary
Plan, implement, coordinate and supervise programs and activities for youth and/or teens. Facilitate programming in arts and gym activities; manage calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking; transport youth to various club locations via BGCMP vehicles; ensure safety and complete proper documentation; assist with the Federal Food program as directed. Must hold a high school diploma or equivalency, maintain CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s Certification within 90 days, and possess a valid Arizona driver’s license. Knowledge of federal and state laws, strong customer service, and the ability to manage groups of youth and build relationships with families and the community are essential. Ability to engage volunteers and support workforce needs for future programs is also required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Must obtain/maintain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification within first 90 days
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license
