Job Summary
Conduct assigned programming and activities while implementing Youth Programming Quality techniques and maintaining a culture of safety. Manage front desk operations by checking members in and out, enforcing security protocols, and efficiently handling traffic. Complete all required reports, data collection, and administrative duties on time, including membership applications and assessment activities. Obtain and renew CPR and First Aid certification by deadline. Work between 2pm and 7pm Monday through Friday during the school year, with up to 37.5 hours per week during the summer. Serve as a positive role model for at-risk youth while representing the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience working with youth
- Available to work between the hours of 2pm-7pm Monday – Friday during school year
- Available to work up to 37.5 hours per week during summer Monday - Friday
- Ability to be a positive role model
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
- Ability to relate to at-risk youth
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be able to pass any and all required background screens
- Must be able to pass any and all required drug screens
