Job Summary
Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success while creating a safe and healthy Club environment that facilitates positive youth development. Ensure facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained, and assist with planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs. Collect and track Club member attendance, coursework, and behavior data, while modeling mature work behaviors to ensure a productive environment. Set up and clean program areas daily, facilitate club-specific and core programs, and deliver High Yield Learning Activities. Affirm positive behavior in members, deliver coaching conversations, and build partnerships with parents and families to support healthy lifestyles, character, and academic success. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding membership and school data. Variable part-time schedule of less than 30 hours/week at an on-site location in King County, with a pay rate of $22.00-$23.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 18+ years old
- STARS ID number
- Portable Background Check with a Cleared status
- Negative TB testing documentation signed within the last twelve months
- Completion of initial STARS basic training, HIV/AIDS, First Aid, CPR and BBP certification within 90 days of hire
