Job Summary
Provide engaged presence to prepare youth for success while creating a safe and healthy Club environment that facilitates positive youth development. Ensure facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained; set up and clean program areas daily. Assist with planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating programs, including High Yield Learning Activities. Collect and track member attendance, coursework, and behavior data. Model mature work behaviors, affirm positive behavior, and deliver coaching conversations when needed. Build partnerships with parents and families while maintaining member confidentiality. This variable part-time role (under 30 hours/week) is located on-site at a Boys & Girls Club in King County. The position supports outcome-driven programming focused on healthy lifestyles, character, and academic success.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 18+ years old
- STARS ID number
- Portable Background Check with a Cleared status
- Negative TB testing documentation signed within the last twelve months
- Completion of initial STARS basic training, HIV/AIDS, First Aid, CPR and BBP certification within 90 days of hire
- COVID-19 Vaccination
