Job Summary

Deliver year-round programs to youth and teens while overseeing volunteer staff and maintaining a clean, safe facility. Plan and implement activities aligned with the Boys & Girls Clubs mission, provide mentorship to at-risk youth, and solicit sponsors for events. Manage administrative functions including cash reports, rosters, lesson plans, and program evaluations. Promote programs daily to members, parents, and the community while cooperating with city divisions for city-sponsored events. Requires flexible weekend and afternoon hours, a valid driver's license, CPR/First Aid certification, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have flexible hours to be able to work on weekends and afternoons as assigned
  • Applicant will be subject to a complete background investigation
  • Applicant must take and pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must have a current valid class C driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record
  • Must have own transportation
  • Require obtaining of CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Pursuing high school diploma, GED or equivalency
  • Requires a knowledge of Boys & Girls Club programs
  • Requires working knowledge of youth programs and general maintenance
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must be in good physical condition
  • Must have good public relations ability
  • Sensitive to the needs of youth/teens
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
  • One (1) year of experience overseeing staff
