Job Summary
Youth Development Professional (YDP) provides a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate afterschool environment; mentors youth, supports academic, social, and emotional growth; plans activities across STEM, arts, technology, recreation, and leadership; supervises spaces and behavior; builds positive relationships with youth and families; assists with homework support and collaboration with teachers; coordinates with the Site Director on schedules, reports, and progress; may drive a club vehicle; collaborates with staff, families, and partners to deliver high-quality youth services; requires college diploma and Teaching Credential; strong communication and organizational skills; background check required; valid South Carolina driver’s license; part-time schedule typically Monday–Friday afterschool hours
