Job Summary

Plan, deliver, and oversee fun, meaningful program experiences including sports, creative arts, and character building for school-age youth. Maintain a safe environment by following safety procedures, enforcing club policies, and assisting with member discipline. Conduct daily programs that generate interest and participation while collaborating with teachers to support members in academic areas. Develop and implement weekly activities, provide program evaluations, and document reporting data including attendance and incident reports. Supervise members during free outside time, clean designated areas, and report hazards to the Site Director. Drive Club vehicles as needed and work Monday through Friday with occasional weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Youth Development
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
  • The employee must remain physically fit enough to keep children safe in an emergency
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to anticipate, identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
  • To accurately complete all required paperwork
  • To professionally handle and/or get help to resolve conflict
  • Ability to follow instructions as given and/or directed by supervisor
