Job Summary
Youth Development Professional to plan, implement, and supervise activities for school-age children aligned with Academic Success, Character & Leadership, and Health & Wellness; lead activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, and field trips while serving as a positive role model. Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, ensuring CPR training within 90 days of hire, supporting the organization’s mission and ICARE values, managing the daily food program (receiving, temperature documentation, meal distribution, clean-up), and potential travel to multiple club facilities across Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, and Pinellas counties. Must have strong communication, creativity, flexibility, basic computer skills, and the ability to engage youth of all ages; work in a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role within a non-profit Boys & Girls Clubs organization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have basic computer knowledge and skills
- Successfully complete organization sponsored CPR training within 90 days of hire
- Travel may be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Pinellas County for training and/or other business purposes
