Job Summary
Youth Development Professional at Boys & Girls Club responsible for delivering daily programs and activities for club members, fostering positive relationships, registering new members, guiding programs, ensuring safety and quality of services, preparing daily activity reports, and participating in staff meetings. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, experience with children, knowledge of youth development, ability to motivate youth and manage behavior, public interaction skills, organization and supervision capabilities, and CPR/First Aid is a plus. Works in a high-energy club environment with local travel; part-time hours vary by school year and summer schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 or older
- Experience in working with children
- Knowledge of youth development
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
- Ability to deal with the general public
- Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment
- CPR and First Aid Certifications a plus
- Valid identification
