Job Summary
The Summer Camp Youth Development Professional will implement daily summer camp programs and activities in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. Responsibilities include supervising campers, planning and leading daily camp activities (games, arts & crafts, sports, group projects), fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere, serving as a role model, mentor, and youth advocate, assisting with field trips and outdoor activities, monitoring behavior and resolving conflicts, maintaining accurate attendance and incident reports, and participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and BGCC policies; physical duties include standing, walking, occasional running, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
