Job Summary
Plan, implement, and supervise youth activities while establishing rapport and providing mentoring to ensure consistent attendance and engagement. Monitor program quality and safety, submit daily lesson plans and attendance sheets, and maintain a clean, closed program area. Facilitate group projects that support emotional and social development, manage behavior problems, and model healthy, inclusive behaviors for members. Collaborate daily with staff and volunteers to address issues and advise on guidelines. Participate in staff meetings, training, and development opportunities to cultivate skills in youth development.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
- Experience working with children
- Knowledge of youth development
- Must pass pre-employment background checks
- Experience and ability in creating interactive and educational activities
- Strong organization, time management skills
