Job Summary
Plan, implement, and supervise daily activities including education, social recreation, arts & crafts, and physical education for youth members. Create an environment that facilitates Youth Development Outcomes while promoting program participation and providing guidance during orientation. Monitor program quality and safety, prepare activity reports, and coordinate weekly schedules utilizing diverse learning skills. Handle minor youth conflicts, enforce safety policies, and maintain club maintenance. Establish communication links with parents, teachers, and community leaders. May drive the Club van and participate in special events. Work Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma / GED minimum
- Experience in working with children
- Knowledge of youth development
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
- Ability to deal with the general public
- Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth
- Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment
- Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Valid State Drivers License
