Job Summary
Plan, implement, and supervise youth development activities supporting academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character. Promote program participation, assist with member registration and orientation, and provide guidance and role modeling. Monitor program quality and safety while preparing periodic activity reports. Safely transport members and staff to and from school and programs, managing passenger behavior and ensuring vehicle maintenance compliance. Maintain facility and equipment in good working order, reporting repairs and janitorial needs. Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, 25 hours per week, in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess a clear driving record
- CDL level license (if required)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints
- Ability to deal comfortably with stressful situations
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner
