Job Summary
Plan, implement, and supervise youth development activities supporting academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character. Promote program participation, assist with member registration, and provide guidance while building relationships with families. Monitor program quality and safety, prepare activity reports, and oversee special events such as the Youth of the Year program. Transport members and staff to and from school and activities, ensuring vehicle maintenance, passenger safety, and compliance with behavioral standards. Maintain facility and equipment in good working order, reporting repairs and janitorial needs. Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm for 25 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess a clear driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to deal comfortably with stressful situations
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints
