Job Summary
Plan, implement, and supervise youth activities within program areas focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character. Manage special events such as Keystone and Youth of the Year programs while overseeing member registration and orientation. Provide guidance and role modeling to youth, monitor program safety and quality, and prepare periodic activity reports. Safely transport members and staff to and from school and programs, ensuring compliance with state regulations and managing passenger behavior. Maintain facility and equipment in good working order, reporting repairs and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess a clear driving record
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
- Ability to meet attendance requirements
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and time constraints
- Ability to deal comfortably with stressful situations
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to interact with co-workers and the public in a positive, professional manner
