Job Summary
Assists alongside program leaders in planning and leading center members and activities provided within a specific program area, supporting the priority outcomes of the program. Participates in outreach to sustain and increase program membership and participation; provides guidance and role modeling to youth; and helps implement programs, services and activities for Center members while maintaining safety, quality, and a welcoming environment. Requires ability to perform physical activities, lift moderately heavy equipment, and travel within the community to participate in off-site Center events. Works within a Salvation Army youth center setting assisting youth development and community outreach efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.
