Job Summary
Youth Development Professional assists alongside program leaders in planning and leading center members and activities in a Salvation Army youth center, promoting program participation, assisting with registrations and orientation, providing guidance and role modeling, implementing programs and activities, monitoring safety and quality, assisting with outreach, and maintaining facilities; position requires physical activity, ability to lift 30-60 lbs, and travel within the community to participate in off-site center events. The role involves working in a youth-center environment and collaborating with Salvation Army Officers to support youth development and character-building activities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.
