Job Summary
Youth Development Professional supporting Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Centers by assisting program leaders in planning and delivering activities for center members, promoting participation, guiding youth, registering new members, and helping maintain safe, engaging environments. Responsibilities include implementing and evaluating programs, coordinating outreach to sustain membership, maintaining facilities and equipment, preparing activity reports, and working with youth and families in community settings. Requires ability to perform physical activities, travel within the community for events, and possession of a High School Diploma or GED (driver's license preferred). Part-time, casual role with pay of $15.45/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.
