Job Summary
Deliver engaging workshops for the Work Ready, Learn Ready, and Life Ready programs while conducting individual assessments and developing case plans for vulnerable youth. Facilitate education pathways, provide advocacy and referrals, and collaborate with schools, families, and community partners to support goals in employment, independence, and personal development. Create innovative learning resources and maintain professional networks across education and youth sectors. This part-time role (4 days per week) at Phoenix Youth Hub in Crows Nest requires a tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Case Management, or Social Work, along with a Working with Children Check and unrestricted NSW driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience as an Educator facilitator, Youth Worker, Case Manager, or in a related community services role
- Experience working with vulnerable young people in community, education or residential settings
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong case management and assessment skills
- Experience facilitating groups, workshops or training sessions
- Creativity and confidence developing engaging educational content
- Strong digital skills, including Canva and Microsoft Office
- A commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally safe practice
- Tertiary qualifications in Youth Work, Case Management, Social Work, Psychology, Education
- Current Working with Children Check
- Undergo a National Police Check
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver Licence
- Access to a comprehensively insured motor vehicle
