Youth Development Coordinator - Lowell

Job Summary
Conduct daily programming and off-site activities while maintaining a physically and emotionally safe space for youth. Collaborate with team members to ensure supervision, support, and engagement through respectful interaction and active listening. Build trust with families by greeting caregivers, answering questions, and referring to supervisors as needed. Participate in trauma-informed training and staff meetings to foster emotional safety and relationship-building. Assist in planning grant-funded activities that are developmentally appropriate and responsive to participant needs. Work Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM with reliable transportation, demonstrating dependability and integrity in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must demonstrate dependability and integrity
- Must be passionate about working with youth in a supportive and inclusive setting
- Must be available Monday–Friday from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM
- Must have a trauma-informed mindset
- Must demonstrate sound judgment, self-awareness, and emotional regulation
- Must have clear and respectful verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to remain calm and grounded in high-energy or stressful situations
- Must be able to work with diverse populations in a flexible and empathetic manner
