Job Summary
Youth Development Coach within a residential treatment program providing trauma-focused support to clients. Responsibilities include supervising clients, assisting with daily life activities, participating in recreational activities, transporting clients in an agency vehicle, and completing daily documentation (activity logs, mileage forms, incident reports). Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; experience in human services with at-risk youth and knowledge of youth behavior patterns are preferred. Location: Redford, MI. This is a full-time role emphasizing teamwork, growth opportunities, and a diverse, inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience working in human services with serious emotional disorder (SED) at-risk youth males between the ages of 10-18 preferred
- Knowledge of behavior patterns of youth and methods of modifying behavior
