Job Summary
Assists in delivering high-quality early childhood education for ages 0-5 in a licensed childcare/preschool setting. Responsibilities include implementing age-appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans, prioritizing child safety, communicating with parents, maintaining an organized classroom, responding to emergencies, and actively participating in staff meetings as a team player. CPR & First Aid training and child abuse prevention instruction are provided within 90 days of hire. Location options include YMCA facilities in Bismarck and Mandan with full-time shifts from 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 8:00 am–3:00 pm, or 10:30 am–6:00 pm; benefits include substantial health insurance support, paid vacation/sick/personal time, and YMCA membership." ,
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in an early childhood or educational setting is a plus
- CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training will be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided by the YMCA
