Job Summary
Youth Coordinator responsible for coordinating and implementing Year-Round OST Enrichment programs, facilitating and supervising program activities for youth, recruiting at-risk youth in the community, ensuring proper procedures and record-keeping, and fostering partnerships. Will travel to multiple sites on the south and west side of Chicago and collaborate with the Thrive OST Manager and Child Thrive Director to support youth development, data collection, program evaluation, and community engagement. Requires strong relationship-building with youth, parents, volunteers, and partner organizations; ability to organize orientations, maintain participant files and consent forms, and participate in trainings; role involves hybrid work arrangements with time split between home and office.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Social work, Counseling, Education, Human Services, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 2-3 years experience in youth development work required.
