Job Summary
Provide information and case management services to youth participants in the WIOA Youth program, including intake/eligibility, assessing employment and training needs, and developing individual employment plans. Serve as a liaison between workforce programs and community partners, deliver the 14 Youth Program Elements, support youth in Work Experience opportunities, build relationships with juvenile justice centers and school districts, and ensure accurate data entry and compliance in program systems. Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and job clubs; monitor labor market trends; and guide participants toward employment and education opportunities while meeting program benchmarks. Role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed (20% travel within the region).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be computer literate with MS Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) at minimum
- Ability to work in diverse settings with culturally sensitive approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Knowledgeable about the WIOA program and workforce program requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast-paced environment
- Valid Driver’s License
