Job Summary
Provide direct care and supervision for youth residing at the Transitional Therapeutic Home, including infants, children, and adolescents. Implement strategies consistent with the DHS Family-Centered and Child Welfare Models of Practice to promote each child's safety, permanency, and well-being. Deliver daily activities such as recreational programs, hygiene, peer relationships, and living skills while administering medication per policy. Serve as an adult role model, monitor rule compliance, and provide transportation for residents on a regular and emergency basis. Record resident progress, communicate with supervisors regarding care plans, and attend all mandatory trainings. Maintain current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and CPI.

- Criminal background and abuse check
- Up to date physical
- TB test
- 24-hour shift schedules
- Days, nights, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of full-time experience in child welfare services
- Preferred experience and expertise with youth
- Passion for working with at-risk youth and their families
