Job Summary
Youth Care Worker tasked with mentoring at-risk youth (ages 6-17) in a structured, supportive setting; lead group activities, help develop essential life skills, provide emotional support, reinforce healthy coping strategies, and collaborate with the Treatment Team to design individualized care plans; document progress and key events; utilize verbal de-escalation techniques; promote hygiene, health, and safety; require a high school diploma/GED/associate degree, 2+ years related experience, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass drug screening and background check to join a mission-driven team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or associate degree required
- Must be 21 years or older
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Two years of experience with children ages 6-17 preferred
