Job Summary
Teach vital life skills and monitor youth behavior while creating a safe, positive living environment in Oviedo, FL. Support youth academic success and personal development, transporting them to appointments, school, and activities. Assist with intake and departure documentation, and participate in mediation and planning conferences with youth and their families. Serve as a role model reflecting Boys Town's mission while managing stressful situations involving verbal or physical threats. Work indoors with occasional outdoor activities and interruptions during 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM shifts or overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Demonstrate to criteria while maintaining current in CPR
- Nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required
