Job Summary
Implement behavior management and modification in the milieu while planning and facilitating therapeutic and recreational activities for children ages 6 to 12. Intervene during crises using appropriate techniques including NAPPI restraint, and drive the pupil van to accompany staff during rides. Maintain contact with collaterals and parents, coordinate snack services, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings. Conduct outreach to children and their families in their homes and communities as necessary. Oversee administration and documentation of clients' prescription medications, ensuring adherence to medical policies. Coordinate transportation services, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, registrations, and inspections. This part-time role requires 20 hours, Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 pm. A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience with school-age children are required, along with a valid Massachusetts driver's license and a 7D license. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is encouraged.
