Job Summary
Provide guidance on behavior choices by teaching social, self-help, academic, and living skills to youth in care. Build confidence in youth to help them create their own solutions while serving as a support figure for mental and emotional stability. Supervise youth during quiet and sleeping hours, conduct bed checks, and actively participate in day trips, recreational sports, facility cleaning, and equipment relocation. May transport youth for work-related tasks. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, one year of related experience, and is available for full-time or part-time shifts including overnight rotations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one-year related experience within an educational or youth service program
- preference for experience working with troubled youth
