Job Summary
Youth Care Specialist for the Children’s After School Program (ages 6-12). Responsibilities include implementing behavior management/modification in milieu, planning and facilitating therapeutic and recreational activities, crisis intervention using appropriate techniques (NAPPI), driving the pupil van and accompanying other staff during rides, coordinating transportation and vehicle maintenance, coordinating medication administration, and engaging with families and collaterals. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, at least one year of experience with school-age children, and a Massachusetts driver’s license with a 3+ year driving history; 7D license required. Bilingual (Spanish & English) encouraged. Location: Revere, MA; Part-time, 20 hours/week (Mon-Fri 2-6pm). Required Qualifications
