Youth Care Professional

Youth Care Professional (YCP) role at Nexus Family Healing, focused on youth and family mental health services. Responsibilities include participating in treatment planning and review, monitoring residents, facilitating group activities, supervising daily living activities, promoting appropriate behaviors, monitoring and reporting on resident behavior, supervising family site visits, ensuring facility rules are followed, utilizing behavior management techniques including de-escalation and restraints when needed, escorting/transports residents to activities, administering medications as ordered, completing timely documentation, recognizing cultural differences in service delivery, and other duties as assigned. Must be 21+, have a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred), and be prepared for Onsite Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days. Requires valid driver’s license, background checks, ability to work with diverse populations, and physical capabilities to assist with interventions and lifts, with limited local travel.
