Job Summary
Youth Care Professional I at Camp Possibilities (Seasonal) provides care and treatment for youth in a therapeutic camp setting, leading outdoor activities, and helping youth develop life and social skills while ensuring a safe physical and emotional environment. Responsibilities include implementing treatment objectives with youth, recognizing and addressing differentiating youth behaviors, participating in treatment teams, managing activities safely, monitoring youth emotions and status, engaging families in trust-based relationships, and supporting transitions into the community. Requires a High School Diploma or GED; unrestricted NYS driver’s license preferred; lifeguarding certification preferred; ability to work outside in varied weather; camp staff work July 4th. Hourly pay ranges from $18.50 to $24.75 depending on experience; location Rochester, NY.
