Job Summary
The Youth Care Professional I is responsible for supporting the day-to-day functioning of residents, engaging youth and families to foster trust-based relationships, maintaining safety with proper vigilance, providing emotional support and life skills training, and accompanying children on various outings. Essential skills include effective communication, emotional competence, and crisis intervention techniques. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and may need a valid NYS driver's license. Required Qualifications
