Job Summary
Develop, lead, and schedule activities for Youth Programs while serving as Camp Director during the 10-week summer camp. Spend hands-on time with students and staff, assisting with daily programming, behavior management, and mentoring counselors to navigate group challenges. Create engaging lesson plans that support physical, mental, and social development, while coordinating schedules, attendance, and classroom ratios. Maintain student and staff records to ensure compliance with DCY, Step Up to Quality, and licensing requirements. Build relationships with parents through recruitment, tours, orientations, and registration. Plan field trips, enrichment programs, and special events for children, teens, and families, including evening and weekend programming. Manage program supplies, equipment, and spaces to ensure readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must pass an FBI/BCI background check and drug screen
- Bachelor's degree preferred
