Job Summary
The Youth Camp Leader is responsible for leading outdoor excursions and directing lessons tailored for school-aged children aged 6 to 14. This role involves implementing games, crafts, and activities while serving as a positive role model and ensuring the safety of participants. Candidates must have a high school diploma, three months of experience with youth, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities include managing diverse groups, problem-solving in active environments, and maintaining a reliable presence. Appropriate certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Child Abuse Reporting will need to be completed upon hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old at the time of hire
- Three months of experience with school-aged children
- Reliable transportation to work sites and a valid drivers license
