Job Summary
Part-Time Behavioral Support Specialist provides one-on-one support and skills coaching for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, and social skills deficits. Works with clients on social, coping, and independent living skills through community-based activities, collaborating with the clinical team, documenting services, and participating in supervision. Requires a Bachelor’s-degree-level background in social work/psychology or equivalent experience (RSA/MHP per Rule 132), willingness to drive to homes, and availability evenings/weekends. Required Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree preferred from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology or a related discipline or the equivalent education and experience to be classified as a RSA or MHP under Rule 132
- Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents
- Minimum age 21 years
- Ability to work evenings and Saturdays
- Willingness to drive to clients’ homes and provide services in the community
- Excellent driving record
