Job Summary
Officiate youth basketball games under the direction of the Athletic Supervisor, enforcing league rules and promoting safe, fair gameplay. Attend staff meetings and trainings, and assist in resolving verbal or physical disputes. Must arrive early, be prompt, and maintain professional conduct with staff, players, fans, and coaches. Travel for away games is required with transportation provided by the referee, and physical fitness is needed to run, back pedal, and lift up to 50 pounds. Wear referee jersey and black shorts/pants with a whistle; ensure games start and end on time and spectators remain respectful. Prepare for season-long responsibilities including attendance at trainings and coordination with coaches and staff.
