Job Summary
Youth and Community Practitioner responsible for delivering engaging group sessions, workshops, and outreach to support young people aged 16–25. Role involves mentoring, building positive relationships, contributing to enrichment activities, trips and residentials, collaborating with tutors, youth workers and community partners, and maintaining accurate records to support programme compliance. Requires safeguarding awareness, ability to engage diverse backgrounds, strong communication, organisational skills, and willingness to work flexibly, including residentials. The position supports Pre and Post 16 programmes and aims to help young people develop confidence, wellbeing, and progression into education, employment or training. Required Qualifications
- GCSE English (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience using IT systems
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Knowledge of PREVENT
- Understanding of issues affecting young people
