Job Summary
Engage with and supervise nine youth in a structured, home-like setting while providing firm, supportive guidance to build confidence and encourage positive growth. Plan and lead activities such as hiking and field outings to help youth develop practical life skills, and coach them toward service goals including homework support, coping strategies, and consistent behavior management. Serve as a strong, positive role model who reinforces accountability and supports overall wellbeing, with driving required for field outings. This role offers a new hire sign-on bonus up to $2,000, extensive training including CPI and de-escalation certification, and comprehensive health benefits starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driving
- Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPI physical interventions, and de-escalation techniques
- Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPR and first aid
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience working with adolescents
- Residential experience
- Experience with systems (e.g. DMH, DCF)
- Additional languages
