Job Summary
Youth ACT Family Peer Advocate provides in-home and community-based treatment and support to youth ages 10 to 21 with behavioral health needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical treatment, family psychoeducation, and skills development. Responsibilities include advocacy with providers, educating youth on self-help techniques, documenting progress, and coordinating services across family, school, medical, behavioral, psychosocial, and community domains. Role requires evening availability, travel within NYC, and hybrid work arrangements (minimum three office days and two hybrid days, with potential shift to 100% in-person).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Specialty credentialing in advocacy (Provisional) can be obtained during the probationary period
- Certification must be obtained within one year
