Job Summary
Youth Advocate I to provide patient, supportive care and mentorship to court-involved youth ages 13-21 in a staff-secure Juvenile Justice residential network. Responsibilities include applying youth development and trauma-informed care to create a safe therapeutic environment, promoting an inclusive and respectful setting, fostering youth skills and positive development, implementing program activities that support personal growth and healthy choices, promoting responsible decision-making, and applying safety and crisis-prevention/de-escalation practices. Position is entry-level and requires a high school diploma or related experience, plus experience working with youth and a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
