Job Summary
Youth Advocate Coordinator in our Juvenile Justice residential program for court involved youth ages 13 to 21. You will oversee and coordinate staff and youth in the execution of the daily program plan, providing comprehensive interventions in a highly structured, self-contained environment. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities for staff and youth, supervising direct care staff, ensuring safety and security (including security checks), assisting in developing and implementing ISPs, promoting teamwork, helping youth identify goals and interests, cultivating a positive program environment, assigning and leading daily group activities, serving as an advocate and role model for youth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- At least two years experience with the population
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Supervisory experience is preferred
