Job Summary
Youth Activity Worker at Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware (North Star Elementary, DE). Full-time, nonexempt role assigned to a club with potential rotation to other sites within the region to ensure adequate coverage; responsibilities include leading club operations, member recruitment, program development and evaluation, community outreach, and professional development; supervise children ages 6–12, ensure safe program implementation, and coordinate with parents, school staff, and community leaders. Requires adherence to state licensing for school-age childcare, ongoing training, and ability to travel within the region as needed. Required Qualifications
- Level Two or Level Three School Age Site qualifications from the Delaware Department of Education
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or certification within two months of hire)
- Ability to drive 8 passenger van (valid license with less than 5 points)
- Ability to work 20 years of age or older (per Level Two/Three requirements)
- Experience working with children ages 6-12 (demonstrated ability)
- Compliance with Office of Child Care Licensing training requirements (18 hours)
