Job Summary
Greet members, answer calls, and supervise children during pool activities, camps, and holiday programs. Assist with event setup, safety checks, meal service, and verifying identification while maintaining playroom cleanliness and securing locks. Host and engage youth in age-appropriate activities, ensuring compliance with club standards and monitoring allergies or special needs. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays, lifting up to 30 pounds in indoor and outdoor environments. Requires CPR certification, one year of childcare experience, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of childcare experience
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications required
- Minimum of one year of childcare experience required
- Knowledge of Outlook, internet applications, and office equipment
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and enjoyment of working with children of all age groups
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients, and employees
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to project voice and gain the attention and cooperation of young members
- Ability to perform required roles during emergency situations
- Commitment to working safely, prudently, and in an organized manner
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and education levels
- Strong team player with the ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Continuous walking and standing throughout shifts
- Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, pulling, and repetitive motions
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
