Job Summary
Greet members and guests while assisting with event set-up, decorations, and safety checks before activities. Host and engage children and families in pool activities, camps, and holiday events, ensuring safe supervision of younger members. Assist parents with check-in procedures, handle kids' meals, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the children's playroom. Comply with club standards, monitor allergies and special needs, and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding unforeseen circumstances. Perform duties in a busy, noisy indoor/outdoor environment involving continuous walking, standing, and lifting items up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Knowledge of Outlook, internet applications, and use of office equipment
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with members, guests, clients, and employees
- Excellent communication skills including strong verbal, written and positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to project voice and get attention of and cooperation from young members
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations
- Ability to safely lift items up to 30 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Ability to listen to, understand, and clarify the concerns and issues raised by members, guests, and team members
- Must be able to pass a background check
