Job Summary
Youth ACT Team Leader oversees the Youth Assertive Community Treatment program, supervising an interdisciplinary team to deliver intensive community-based behavioral health services to youth (ages 10–21) with serious emotional disturbance. Responsibilities include ensuring fidelity to the ACT model, compliance with OMH Youth ACT guidelines, case reviews and treatment planning, caseload management, liaison with OMH and partners, providing direct clinical services to a small caseload, staff recruitment and development, and promoting family engagement and youth voice. The role requires leadership in clinical service delivery, data collection for QA/evaluation, and travel for community-based visits. Qualifications include NYS-licensed clinicians (LCSW/LMHC/psychologist/PMHNP/psychiatrist), 3+ years of clinical youth experience, 2+ years supervisory experience, and strong EHR and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Psychologist
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Psychiatrist licensed in New York State
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with youth with serious emotional disturbance (SED) or co-occurring disorders
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or program management experience in a behavioral health or child welfare setting
- Strong knowledge of ACT principles, OMH regulations, and community-based service models
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid NYS driver’s license and ability to travel for community-based visits
- Prior experience working in an ACT, Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI), Health Home, or similar mobile treatment program.
