Youth Academy Part-Time Field Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee Youth Academy Training days, manage field set-up and care, and serve as the onsite point of contact for events including PLAYBALL, tournaments, and try-outs. Proactively communicate with coaches and staff to resolve issues before, during, or after facility events. Manage gameday operations for the RBI league, meeting with coaches and umpires, communicating schedule changes due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, recording scores, and operating Gamechanger for all Nike RBI league play. Requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work outside in extreme weather and lift up to 50lbs. Candidates must pass drug screening and background checks, complete MLB Youth Protection Policy training, and possess experience running youth baseball tournaments or camps.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform in fast changing environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate well and efficiently to staff, teams and supervisors
- Hours of availability on nights, weekends, and potentially holidays
- Ability to work outside in extreme weather including heath, cold and rain for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift, ush, pull and/or carry up to 50lbs
- Must pass drug screening and background check
- Must complete compliance training in accordance to MLB's Youth Protection Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of the policies and rules of high school baseball and softball
- Experience running youth baseball tournaments and/or camps
