Youth Academic Professional (PT, 9 Month School Year) - Lincoln

Plan and facilitate structured, engaging afterschool enrichment sessions for youth in grades 4K-5th at Blue Door Academy site, delivering programming with fidelity under the Club Manager’s supervision. Responsibilities include reviewing, planning, and delivering activities aligned to the program model; applying Positive Youth Development principles to create safe, high-quality learning environments; arriving prepared, following the daily schedule, and documenting sessions using approved curricula; building authentic relationships with youth, greeting them by name, supporting behavioral and developmental needs, and escalating concerns as appropriate. Maintain supervision, safety protocols, and program-space organization; complete onboarding and ongoing professional learning, attend required meetings, and uphold professional standards. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, background checks and regulatory clearances, CPR/First Aid within 90 days, Mandated Reporter training, and Wisconsin childcare registry certifications within 90 days; preferred experience with BGCA or similar youth-serving organizations and at least 1 year of youth-facing experience. The role is part-time, up to 29 hours per week, located at Lincoln Elementary School in Wauwatosa, WI, with start date August 24, 2026.
