Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to drive defense, aerospace, and government sector growth for ADLINK. You will manage existing defense-related clients, hunt for new opportunities with COTS/ODM engagements, and build strategic account plans to align rugged embedded computing, GPU, and defense-grade solutions with program requirements. You’ll lead MSAs and long-term negotiations, ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, and collaborate across Sales Operations, Marketing, Technical Program Management, and Engineering to deliver results. Requires 5+ years in defense/aerospace/government sales, a bachelor’s degree, ITAR/export-control familiarity, and eligibility for a security clearance. Remote role with approximately 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent training/experience in high-technology or defense-related industries
- Minimum 5+ years of sales/account management experience within the Defense, Aerospace, or Government technology sectors
- Proven track record selling complex hardware/embedded computing solutions to COTS and ODM defense contractors, aerospace integrators, or government agencies
- Strong understanding of DoD acquisition cycles, defense contracting processes, and program capture strategies
- Experience managing a mix of strategic and proactive account activities, including prospecting, qualifying, developing, and closing
- Familiarity with ITAR and U.S. export control regulations
- Eligibility for U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or higher preferred)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
