Job Summary
The Young Person’s Practitioner provides intensive 1‐to‐1 support for 11–18 year-olds at risk of offending, delivering interventions through multi‐agency partnership work, group sessions, and individual activities to help move young people toward education, training, or employment. The role emphasizes risk assessment, contextual safeguarding, and strong engagement with young people and families, building trust and delivering practical mentoring to develop life skills, resilience, and employability. You’ll run group activities and outdoor programmes, maintain safeguarding practices, and collaborate with local authorities, police, and education partners. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are advantageous for this role.
